Carlo Scevola President

As president of CS&P, Carlo Scevola is ultimately responsible for the success and satisfaction of each of the firm’s clients. Mr. Scevola contributes strategic direction to each client engagement and may be deeply involved in the day-to-day planning and execution as well. Carlo’s background makes him well suited for international consulting work; with a long time experience in estate planning, asset management, international strategic tax planning and trust administration, he is quick to provide creative, in-depth strategies for complicated matters. A focus of his notable expertise includes minimizing the global tax cost of doing business internationally, and he has earned a reputation for consistently achieving substantial cash flow and profit and loss savings by designing and implementing innovative tax planning strategies. Mr. Scevola has written on various topics of taxation, finance and mathematics, and presented seminars on asset management, tax planning, estate planning, and nonprofit organizations. Mr. Scevola has run CS&P since the late ’90s. He is a member of various international professional organizations, and he holds an MBA in finance. He is an active enterpreneur with participations in several startups and mature companies; he is also a philanthropist, supporting initiatives in the Caribbean, Russia and Africa.

He is currently serving as the Special Adviser to the Prime Minister of Guinea Bissau on economic matters, and heading the Guinea Bissau National Investments Agency.

He is an active sportsman and former alpine ski racer in international circuits. He now enjoys free ride skiing and golf. In his spare time, he relaxes by playing the cello.

Monica Halley Vice President, Chief Operating Officer

As COO, Ms. Halley oversees the development and implementation of the company’s strategic and operating plans across all businesses. She has leadership responsibility for CS&P’s key support areas: business processes and control, capital allocations and commitments, communications, finance, legal, operations, strategy and technology. Ms. Halley received a Master’s of Business Administration with distinction in Finance from Harvard University, and is a graduate of Yale University.

Vadym Makhinytskyy Vice President, CIS Area

Vadym V. Makhnytskyy is responsible for the development of CS&P in the CIS area. Colonel, Ukraine Marines (retired), he  studied in Far East Military Command Academy. He has served in leadership and command positions in the special reconnaissance, stay behind, counter diversion and airborne units of the Marine. He has been a Unconventional Warfare Instructor, Special Reconnaissance and Direct Action Expert qualified. He has served on the Pacific and Baltic Fleets, participated in Special Operations in Indian ocean, Mediterranean and Red seas. After retirement has experience of carrying out of special and saving operations in zones of military local conflicts in Abkhazia, Ossetia, Kosovo, Trans – Dnister Moldavian Republic. He holds a Master of Law degree in Kiev National University. Mr. Makhnytskyy speaks Russian, English, Polish and French.

Konstantin Ponamarev Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

As CFO, Mr. Ponamarev is responsible for the firm’s market and credit risk management, treasury, financial reporting and controls, corporate and strategic planning, regulatory reporting and supervision. He graduated at the Moscow State University in Economics and received a Masters in Finance from Princeton University.

Karina Sneiderova Vice President, Chief talent officer

Ms. Sneiderova is a key contributor to the company’s international relationships and partnerships. She oversees all aspects of human resources, with a specific focus on driving talent management and development. She regularly provides strategic advice to firm leadership on the development of programs and policies that will allow the firm to recruit and retain the most talented partners and staff. Karina also works to ensure that the recruiting, retention, diversity, professional development, benefits and staff administration policies and programs are integrated and aligned to support the firm’s strategic agenda.

Ms. Sneiderova, fluent in eight languages, holds a B.Sc. in International Relationships from the University of Pisa, Italy, and an MBA in finance from the University of Liverpool, UK.

Linda Zucaro Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer

Ms. Zucaro is responsible for the firm’s governance and controls, global operations and infrastructure services, global services, technology, and human resources, including talent management. Ms. Zucaro received a bachelor of arts degree from Lafayette College, Easton, and a master’s in business administration from the University of Phoenix, Arizona.

Ahmed Aziz Managing Director, South Africa Branch

Ahmed holds a degree in Financial Management as well as a National Diploma in Accountancy. He is an experienced consultant, especially in the corporate finance sector. Prior to joining CS&P, he has directed the financial division of the largest maritime company in the world.

Venkat Bokka Managing Director, India Branch

A private trader and financial advisor, Mr. Bokka is one of the pioneers of technical analysis in India. He has several years of trading experience on worldwide markets. He is founder and chairman of a brokerage company in India. Mr. Bokka graduated from Andhra University with a degree in Law.

Anna De Valeri Head of the Digital and Media Presence Department

Ms. De Valeri joined the CS&P team after beginning her career as a graphic designer and copywriter for magazines and newspapers. At CS&P, Anna is responsible for coordinating the Digital and Media Presence team. Ms. De Valeri graduated from Milan Statale University with a degree in Communications and Society.

Elena Ferrante Head of the Art Consulting Department

Ms. Ferrante is responsible for managing relationships with auction companies and art agents, and for defining art investment strategies for CS&P clients. She graduated from Urbino University in Italy with a degree in Preservation of the Cultural Heritage.

Helena Gilbert Head of the Social Responsibility Department

Ms. Gilbert is responsible for coordinating the social and environmental policies of CS&P across the world, and for tracking, contributing to and influencing major external policy initiatives. She graduated from the University of Hamburg, Germany with a degree in Social Sciences.

Anja Helmberg Head of the Project Development Department

Prior to joining CS&P Ms. Helmberg worked as an account manager for several international companies; in her role she is responsible for responsible for managing new projects from acquisition through due diligence, and ultimately implementation. She holds a degree in Economics from the University of Hamburg, Germany.

Christina Jacob Head of the Intellectual Property Department

Ms. Jacob’s role is to create the best solutions to meet the most challenging intellectual property issues. She is experienced in all the aspects of intellectual property work and has handled more than a thousand patent, trademark, copyright and unfair competition cases all across the world. Her experience includes financial, pharmaceutical, computer software and telecommunications related patent and copyright cases. In addition, she also advises on technology transfesr and conducts patent and other intellectual property audits as part of investment projects. She holds an LLM from the McGill University of Montreal.

Elizabeth Jenkins Head of the Caribbean Branch

Ms. Jenkins is responsible for managing the company’s affairs in the Caribbean area. He holds a degree in Law from the University of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Jenny Keenan Head of the International Planning Division

Graduated in Law in Kingston University; in her role she is responsible for the development of offshore strategies and new scenarios. She supervises and coordinates the international network of partners and associates, and she manages the relationship with corporate clients.

Deborah Lauro Head of the Sales & Marketing Department

Ms. Lauro implements worldwide business development and marketing efforts on behalf of our clients. She and her team are responsible for sales strategy and execution, and for directing the clients’ marketing initiatives across all geographies. Ms. Lauro received a B.A. in economics from Georgetown University and an MBA in marketing from London Business School.

Robert Niemann Managing Director, UAE Branch

Mr. Niemann is responsible for developing the company’s presence in the Middle East. He holds a degree in Economics from the American University in Dubai and an MBA in International Finance.

Irene Ozick Head of the Legal Department

Mrs. Ozick’s areas of expertise include commercial law, property law, trusts and company law. Now responsible for the supervision of all legal affairs of CS&P, she was formerly a partner at a U.S. law firm. She holds a degree in Law from the University of Toronto as well as a PhD.

Scott Roberts Jr Head of the Financial Consulting Division

Mr. Roberts is responsible for the development and testing of investment strategies and the training of CS&P’s head traders. He holds a B.A. and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Massachusetts.

Cynthia Rowley Head of the Institutional Clients Relationships Department

Ms. Rowley is responsible for managing existing client relationships as well as developing new ones, all with the goal of ensuring clients receive expert consultation and the highest levels of service. He holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Southern Europe, Monaco.

Jeffrey Sidwell Head of the Corporate Structuring Department

For clients starting a new business, expanding current business interests or reorganizing operations, Mr. Sidwell provides advice on corporate structure. Prior to his career with CS&P, Mr. Sidwell was an associate at a law firm in Washington, D.C. He earned a Master of Law at the Georgetown University of Washington, D.C.

Ylenia Stanton Head of the Corporate Finance Department

Ms. Stanton has significant experience in corporate finance and M&A advisory work as well as with equity and debt capital markets. She covered a broad range of sectors but has particular depth in automotive, chemicals, industrials and capital markets. At CS&P, she is responsible for leading business advisory services to small- and medium-sized companies involved in private placements, IPO’s, valuations, mergers and acquisitions, buyouts and buy-ins, venture capital and other dimensions of corporate finance and financial structuring transactions. She holds a degree in economics from Cambridge, UK, and is qualified as a chartered accountant.

Yvonne Sung-sheng International Banking Relationship Manager

Ms. Sung-Sheng is responsible for the management and development of the firm’s international banking network. Ms. Sung-Sheng earned her Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Ateneo de Davao University, Davao City, Philippines; and her MBA in international management from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird), Glendale, Arizona.
